In particular, G-NEXT will supply information and intelligence data in support of the European External Action Service (EEAS), including mapping and geo-information products ready for deployment in emergency and crisis situations, and will provide a set of services suitable to be integrated in the users working environment in an effective and reliable way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Building on the capacities and service components developed within G-MOSAIC, and the potential application areas identified by the Copernicus Security working group in Support to External Action, G-NEXT will focus on the enhancement of geo-spatial crisis management services in both rush (event-driven response) and non-rush (periodic or non-event-driven) modes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The overarching objective of G-NEXT is to address the gap between research-based and operational services in the programmatic context of Copernicus Services for Security Applications.<\/p>\n<p>G-NEXT addresses six categories of services: reference mapping\/contingeny plan preparation, event mapping, critical assets monitoring, crisis area monitoring\/mapping, monitoring of settlements (population movements and temporary settlements), and damage assessment.<br \/>\n<strong>Partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>e-Geos Spa (Italy)<br \/>\nEuropean Union Satellite Centre (Spain)<br \/>\nParis \u2013 Lodron \u2013 Universitat Salzburg (Austria)<br \/>\nIstituto Affari Internazionali (Italy)<br \/>\nDeutsches Zentrum Fuer Luft \u2013 Und Raumfahrt EV (Germany)<br \/>\nIndra Sistemas S.A.
